Rosalie, Thanks for your input. In WordPress you should have both the visual editor and the html editor. Look at the post or page you are editing. On the top-right of the document, but just below the title you will see two tabs. One says "Visual" and the other says "HTML." If you click on HTML, your page will refresh as the HTML editor. Here you can add all the HTML code that you would ever need. On rare occasions, a plugin may be added to your site that will disable the HTML editor, but this is on rare occasions.

Thanks, Incitrio, for this important and timely post, particularly after Google did the shift with their algorithms to ensure quality content. This might sound naive, but where does one add the html language when using Wordpress? Thanks again.

Although it may not seem fair, Yelp allows users to practically post anything about their experience as long as it falls withing their terms of usage policy. The most effective, long term solution, is to encourage (not solicit) your happy clients to post a review about their experience in hopes that your good reviews outnumber your bad. Yelp will automatically filter reviews that it sees as fraudulent. This is based on a number of factors including the reviewer's history and how much they participate. The specifics of these factors are a company secret, but their algorithm changes constantly, so don't be surprised to find this review in your filtered list in the future. If the reviewer begins to build a large history with Yelp, this post may re-appear in your reviews. Reviewers can delete any post they add, so it may be worth it to communicate with this person to work out your differences. For now, you may want to personally reply to this post, stating that you believe that the review is unfair and that you would be happy to help make their experience better next time. This will make you look good even against a very bad review. Lastly, consider diversifying your online marketing efforts so that your business does not solely rely on Yelp to find customers.

What can business owner do about completely fraudulent review?? Does not seem fair or ethical to allow anyone to write whatever they like without regard to truth or honesty. I have been unfairly "reviewed" by person who has personal grievance against me; and "review" is totally untrue. What are my options??

Thank you very much for your assistance.

This really puts into context the risk of allowing your kids to go knocking door to door on Halloween. The worst part is that since the kids were supervised, the risk really hits home with concerned parents.
I doubt that the candy corporations would take any responsibility here, although it is a very good idea to bring it to their attention since they make so much profit from the holiday. A decal would really allow them to advertise, but I also doubt that many people would want to put a sticker on their door. The real responsibility is in the parent's decision to allow their kids out. I think that if this violet trend continues, parents will ultimately begin to opt out of trick-or-treating all together and focus more on allowing other "safe" types of events for their kids.
