The Down Syndrome Association is a national non-profit dedicated to serving the needs of Down syndrome children and their families. The Saint Louis non-profit approached Incitrio with a unique problem, they needed to develop a campaign specifically target to new moms. The challenge was for new moms who did not know in advance that their baby would have Down syndrome, many would go into shock and not know how to handle the situation.
After careful branding analysis, Incitrio created the “BabyFirst” campaign which included naming, logo, collateral, bookmarks, a folder for handouts and a box to hold educational materials as well as a book and a video. This kit could be mailed out or hand-delivered, stored flat and required no glue enabling volunteers to assemble the boxes themselves.
