Indata is a privately held high tech firm that develops enterprise software for investment traders. They are a leading industry provider of software solutions for buy-side firms including trade order management, compliance, portfolio accounting and front-to-back office. Since 1968, Indata has provided the investment community with the most timely and accurate transaction-based portfolio performance analysis products.
When Indata first approached Incitrio for a re-branding and print advertising campaign, they were a relatively small player in their industry competing against some very large 800 lb. gorilla firms. However, unlike their competitors, they had the best product on the market and were looking for a way to stand out from their competition in a no-holds barred, yet professional manner.
Incitrio's solution was to develop a multi-faceted print advertising campaign that consisted of one-page branding ads, two-page testimonial ads (shown above) and an online marketing campaign that was distributed through key industry publications. Each advertisement told the story of a happy client that left a major competitor and exactly why they chose Indata over them. In an advertorial interview manner, clients were led through a mock interview where they discussed the benefits of Indata vs. their competitors and left no question in the reader's mind as to which product was superior.
The end result was a tremendous capture of their industry's market share that made their competitors sit up and take notice. By continuing to expand and evolve their re-branding campaign as well as their product line, Indata has continued to maintain a strong hold on their market share in the face of very large and tough competition.
